of NCSU announced third - the final wave of registration of doctors in training on the topic “Clinical coding of diseases and interventions on the Ukrainian system of DSG”. The course enjoys extraordinary popularity among Ukrainian doctors. Today the training is provided.
Online course "Clinical coding of diseases and interventions on the Ukrainian system of DSG” will help institutions to prepare new rules and coding standards of the treated cases with the use of diagnostically-related groups (DSG) in the hospital.
to See the program and register for courses in the period from 20 to 27 February 2020 for link.
the course will help doctors learn how to code diagnoses and interventions using the Australian classification system.
the Training modules consist of video lectures, supporting materials and tools (in particular, the simulator of the encoding of the Ukrainian system of DSG), theoretical and practical problems. Experts NCSU will inform about the rules and coding standards cases in the hospital, recording data on the treated case, relative to the advantages of implementation for the institution and physician, what is clinical coding and why it is needed.

At transition to payment models for the treated case, the encoding quality of physicians will directly affect the amount of funds, received by healthcare institutions'I from NCSU.
Doctors should learn to code diagnoses and interventions using the Australian system of diagnostic-related groups (al-DSG), which will soon be implemented as an official classification in Ukraine, according to the new rules and coding standards cases in the hospital. As-DSG provides a clinically acceptable and understandable way, this'connection between the types of patients who are treated at the hospital with the resources required for their treatment. The system consists of approximately 700 homogenous groups about'unite patients based on diagnoses and procedures, and is intended for the coding of inpatient medical care, in particular, for the purposes of hospital funding.
