We are theNational Health Service of Ukraine (NHSU). We purchase medical services from healthcare providers using funds from the state budget. We pay for the services of family doctors with whom citizens have signed declarations, consultations with other specialists, examinations, and inpatient treatment. We also finance childbirth, neonatal care, treatment of heart attacks, strokes, and more.
Pharmacies receive reimbursement from us for the cost of medicines and medical devices under the“Affordable Medicines”program. We work for people and in their best interests. To protect the health of Ukrainians, we are implementing a healthcare financing reform. Thanks to this reform,“money follows the patient”. This allows everyone to freely choose where and from whom to receive planned medical care, which pharmacy to visit for“Affordable Medicines”, and which doctor to sign a declaration with.

You can find the hospital or pharmacy that has a contract with the NHSU without leaving your home. Searching for a doctor, healthcare facility, or service has become as convenient as possible—electronic services allow you to do it in just a few clicks. With an electronic referral, you can go to any hospital that is most convenient for you.
